Privacy at Minimondo
This notice explains the small amount of data used by the Minimondo website and waitlist.
Who is responsible
The operator and data controller responsible for this processing is:
Jeremias Benjamin BrändleHubstraße 66a

Shirt and campaign measurement
When a campaign link such as the QR code on a shirt is opened, Minimondo increases one aggregate counter for that campaign and UTC date. We do not store an IP address, user-agent, referrer, cookie, device identifier, or individual visit record for this measurement. Repeat visits are counted again. The purpose is to understand whether a campaign brings people to the site.
Waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we process your email address, consent version, signup source, subscription status, and the dates needed to operate the list. The email address is encrypted in the database. We use this data only to confirm your signup, send occasional development updates, and invite you to a public playtest.
The waitlist is based on your consent. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.
Legal bases
We process waitlist data on the basis of your consent. We rely on legitimate interests to deliver and secure the website and to measure aggregate campaign response without creating a person-level analytics record. Those interests are operating a reliable website, preventing abuse, and understanding whether project outreach is effective.
Service providers and transfers
Cloudflare hosts and secures the website, functions, and encrypted database. The database is configured in Cloudflare's Western Europe region, while Cloudflare operates a global network and may process technical request or account data outside the European Economic Area. Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum incorporates the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and other transfer safeguards.
Resend delivers waitlist email from its Ireland sending region. Resend states that account data, including email metadata, logs, and API records, is stored in the United States. Resend's Data Processing Addendum incorporates the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and describes its transfer safeguards. You may contact us for more information about these safeguards.
Retention
Aggregate campaign totals are retained for long-term campaign comparison because they do not contain an individual visit record. Pending signups are scheduled for deletion after 30 days. Active subscriber data is retained while you are subscribed. After an unsubscribe, bounce, or complaint, a limited suppression record is retained only as long as reasonably needed to avoid unwanted email, document the request, and meet delivery or legal obligations. Operational email and webhook receipts are scheduled for deletion after 90 days.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object where applicable. You can withdraw consent at any time. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Austria, the supervisory authority is the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
Cookies and browser storage
The public marketing pages do not use analytics cookies, advertising trackers, local storage, or fingerprinting. The optional Flappy Word mini-game uses local browser storage only to remember game progress on that device; this information is not sent to Minimondo. The website does not show an analytics-consent banner because its campaign measurement does not store or read information on your device. If this changes, this notice and the consent approach will be reviewed before deployment.
